A S A f E Strategic Partner

As Professional Accountants choosing a S A f E Member as your Strategic Partner will ensure independent impartial advice in helping you develop the detailed e-learning project strategy for your school, helping in three key areas:-


Project Management
n Consult with you on the extent of the scheme being rolled out to the pupils.
n Develop a realistic timetable of events and activities to ensure the success of the initiative.
n Help promote the scheme to pupils, parents, and potential local business sponsors arranging demonstrations as necessary.
n Arrange staff training if required.
n Repeat supply and promotion on subsequent roll outs.
   
Technical
n Investigate the current school ICT infrastructure and its suitability to support the project.
n Finalise the specification of the equipment on offer and arrange its configuration and any required software.
n Order the equipment from the suppliers.
n  Ensure that equipment for the pupils is configured to pre defined standards for network compatibility and security.
n Manage the ongoing hardware maintenance service of the equipment.
   
Legal, Tax & Financials
n Incorporate a suitable corporate entity to run the e-learning project ensuring transparency for donors and sponsors.
n Prepare all the legal paperwork for you.
n Develop a Total Cost of Ownership model so that all members of staff understand the financial implications of the project.
n Arrange the finance required to acquire the equipment for the e- learning project as well as any additional finance that may be required for the school ‘s existing ICT infrastructure.
n Ensure appropriate insurance is in place.
n Liaise with E-Learning Foundation Donation Management Service.
n On going accountancy advice, annual accounts, financial models to support the scheme.
